Allison Phillips Sheesley

Alison Phillips Sheesley is a Ph.D. Student in Counselor Education and Supervision at the University of Northern Colorado currently working on her dissertation. She is a practicing play therapist who is focusing her studies on clinical work with children and adolescents. She is interested in researching the mental health benefits of the practice of improv comedy and has co-authored a peer-reviewed publication, “Comedic Improv Therapy for the Treatment of Social Anxiety Disorder.”
