Liz is the founder of hOMe Collective, a vibrant community supporting health and wholeness. Liz earned her Masters of Social Work and became a Licensed Clinical Social Worker during her time at Aurora Mental Health Center. Through her work as an Adolescent Day Treatment Therapist, she realized that the intelligence of the human body is often forgotten about in talk therapy. This insight inspired her to find an integrated approach to health that invites the body, mind and spirit to align in healing. Liz believes that the embodied approach to wholeness is a vital piece of the healing puzzle, and she draws on many embodied modalities—including Improv and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy—to serve in her practice. She is excited to join the team of Gaining Perspective to bring the therapeutic benefits of Improv to many more.
