After encountering many different perspectives and methods of teaching improv in Chicago and Denver, Kerstin Caldwell has integrated those perspectives and her love of the art form into something that is all her own.
Kerstin has been performing and studying the art of improvisation since she was first introduced to it in high school. She studied the craft full-time at Chicago's Second City and iO, where she performed with various teams. She has also performed in Denver with the Bovine Metropolis, Rattlebrain and The Second City, Denver and in 2005 Kerstin was a founding member of the Denver Improv Festival and The GroupMind Foundation. Since 2003, Kerstin has taught packed workshops at the Colorado Thespian Conference and created the Conference's first improv showcase called Improv Frenzy.
The thrill of witnessing a student step through a door of discovery always reminds her how lucky she is to have found this art form. Kerstin's passion for her craft helps her encourage all improvisers to seek out as many forms of education in the art that they can.
